When people walk into relationships to get an identity they can't create
or sustain, I have an issue with that. They want to become what they
have not been all along and that's not possible.
They walk into relationships but with the wrong expectations, So, they meet frustrations.
People who rarely love themselves easily get disappointed in a
relationship. That's a simple one — Love others... as you love yourself.
When you think that you're nothing before others, it will affect the way you present yourself before others to be loved.
When you love yourself, you'll raise your esteem, you'll invest into
yourself, you'll value your progress. Love must work on you before it
can work through you.
An opportunity to fall in love is an
opportunity to carry your identity along. You've always been YOU all
along. If you didn't add something into you all along then, you don't
love yourself. Don't make yourself a burden to anyone when a better
option is to bear burdens together. Don't build insecurity around your
relationship when a better option is to raise your defences. If you must
be a part of someone's life, then, be a part of their success process,
relieve them of pressures, train your tongue to offer encouragement,
condition your atmosphere to exude inspiration.
Don't be another deadly fire!
Now is the best time to review your identity.
